It's been a busy first few months of the year for all of us at Threefold and the entire SMG agency network. Since January, our team has traveled internationally to attend and speak at numerous events that set the tone for global retail media.
In January, Chief Commercial Officer Lee LeFeurve, Partnership Director Amber Roberts and Co-op Media Network's Dean Harris spoke at NRF: Retail's Big Show about Co-op Media Network and in-store data.
In February, Managing Director Sean Crawford and the Threefold team headed to Toronto for the first-ever Retail Media Summit Canada. Sean spoke about the burgeoning retail media opportunity in Canada. Later that month, Sean and CEO Sam Knights headed west to San Fransico for LiveRamp's RampUp.
Then, Sean, Sam and Co-Founder Matt Lee found themselves in Las Vegas for Shoptalk, where Threefold hosted our first-ever VIP Retail Media Dinner with our friends from Particular Audience And Qsic. The next day, Threefold sponsored the Retail Media OG Party, a networking event from the Path to Purchase Institute.
Meanwhile, Amber traveled to San Antonio, Texas, to talk about the global rise of retail media and the potential for private-label brands to get involved at PLMA's Annual Leadership Meeting & Conference.
Finally in April, Amber spoke in New York City about growing a RMN from the ground up at Skai's ShopAble event, while Sean and Sam were Downtown at the Ascendant Network's Retail Media Boot Camp, where Sam took the stage to talk cookie deprecation and leveraging first-party with Rachel Halter from Co-op and Ray Balberman from Advance Powered by Loblaw.
Whew! What a busy few months, and we're just getting started. In June, Threefold is heading to France for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Later that month, we're heading to Chicago for the Retail Media Summit. More to share about our plans soon, so stay tuned.
